Maserati Quattroporte Bellagio Up For Grabs

Let’s go back to 2008 for a moment, to a time when the Ferrari FF didn’t exist! The 599 GTB is really fast but it seats only two, while the 612 Scaglietti is big but it only has two doors, so not enough room for a big dog and some hunting riffles.

Enter the custom-built Quattroporte Bellagio, a model that gives the 4-door saloon room for a cannon in the boot. The station-wagon version of Maserati’s biggest car was created by Italy’s revived Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera in very limited numbers.

As the model was only built upon customer request, we were really surprised when we got wind of the news that one fine example is for sale. We’re not sure exactly how many were built, but the €165,000 price that is being asked by Helfferich, a Dutch dealer, for the car seems fair at first glance.

The blue-colored Bellagio was built back in 2008 and has a mere 1,546 km or 961 miles on the clock. We don’t know the exact cost of the car when it was new, but we can tell you that the fist version was built for a discerning Arab customer for use in the desert and features a new set of folding rear seats and sold for a price tag reportedly in excess of €350,000.

Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera was established over 80 years ago, and was responsible for a number of stunning examples including ones that wore Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and even Aston Martin badges.
