Revealed in at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show, the new Maserati Ghibli is set to go in production in late 2013 as a luxury four-door sedan. Though the Italian don’t have any plans for a coupe or other body styles, a few renderings have speculated upon different versions of the Ghibli.
We’ve already seen a couple of renderings with a wagon version before, but automotive manipulator Theophilus Chin has come up with a new one, showing the vehicle’s rear three quarter view. While a Ghibli Estate won’t look bad at all in terms of design, we doubt Maserati will ever offer such a contraption.
Just as a reminder, the 2014 Maserati Ghibli, which is actually a smaller Quattroporte, will go on sale early next year with a choice of two V6 engines. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter gasoline version will offer 410 HP, while the turbocharged diesel variant will develop 271 HP.
