Recently unveiled at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show, the all-new Maserati Ghibli four-door sedan has already been envisioned with a coupe and even a station wagon body.
Since it’s no ugly car, the Ghibli would look great as a coupe, and, if you ask us, it would have been more than appropriate for Maserati to start with that body style in the first place. At least for the sake of its iconic name...
As far as the Station Wagon is concerned, we bet it would have some success. And not only in China. Of course, there’s no way the Italians will consider building such a contraption, and a coupe is out of question as well, since Maserati can’t handle too much stir in its waters.
Just as a reminder, the 2014 Maserati Ghibli, which is actually a smaller Quattroporte, will go on sale early next year with a choice of two V6 engines (diesel and gasoline).
