Now we all know auto makers love partnering with all sorts of eccentric fashion retailers, but it would seem sometimes things go too far. Not that we don’t like the idea, but maybe we’re just too into cars to appreciate new trends in cloths wear.

According to Luxury Daily, the campaign was photographed by Arnaud Pyvka over a three day stint. The Maserati headquarters in Italy have served as the backdrop for the Men’s Modernist “On Your Marque” 20-page editorial spread.

Model Victor Nylander is seen against the backdrop of historically important vehicles in the Maserati factory such as a 1953 A6 GCS Berlinetta, which was designed by Pininfarina, as well as a current Ghibli and Quattroporte.

And just so you know, it’s not the first time the Italians are involved with a retailer. In the past, in order to promote their Ghibli sedan, they’ve partnered with Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue and have created the Maserati Quattroporte Zegna Limited-Edition in close partnership with Ermenegildo Zegna. Oh, and if you want to get a better idea of what happened there, you could always watch the behind-the-scenes video below.
