Marussia B1 Russian Supercar in Monaco

Now, we don’t enjoy anonymous supercars, especially if they don’t back it up with some heritage. But this one is a little different. It’s called the Marussia B1, it’s developed by a Russian company and is sold with a V6 engine. According to Alex Molik, who spotted the car in Monaco recently, the company opened a dealership there last year. These are actually the colors on the Monaco flag, so it might be a show car.
Only 2999 copies will ever be made of this very exclusive car, all using a combination of aluminum for the frame and carbon fiber for the body to save as much weight as possible. There are two engine options for this car, one being a 300 hp 3.5-liter V6, and the other a turbo 2.8-liter turbocharged model made by Cosworth, which comes with 360 hp or 420 hp.

It might not be a Bugatti Veyron fighter, but it’s actually a relatively reasonable proposition as it’s supposed to cost starting from £110,000 in Britain, which is €131,000 or $174,000 at the current exchange rate.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
