Mark Webber Slams Mickey Mouse Teams

Although he's not exactly a fan of the Ferrari marque – or maybe he is, who knows? – Australian driver Mark Webber echoed the Scuderia's recent comments regarding the new-entered teams in the 2010 F1 series. Even if not as harsh as the Prancing Horse, Webber insisted it's embarrassing to see teams that haven't tested a single mile throughout the winter take part in the championship.

“It's embarrassing. It's incredible that people who haven't yet turned a wheel take part in grands prix. It's the sort of stuff from Mickey Mouse or Tom and Jerry,” said the 2-time Grand Prix winner of the 2009 championship according to planetf1.com.

When sharing his thoughts on the situation to the media, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) had yet to confirm the official entry list for the 2010 season of F1. Meaning at the time, Webber's comments were directed to Hispania Racing Team, US F1 and Stefan GP.

However, from those three, two will not play any role in the 2010 championship, as they were rejected by the ruling body on the official entry list published late yesterday evening. Hispania Racing F1 Team is therefore the only team in the F1 paddock who is yet to test their car on track this year.

Their car was built entirely by Parma-based chassis manufacturer Dallara, and is expected to be presented to the public eye later today, via a media event in Murcia, Spain. The Spanish organization is yet to announce a potential test date for their car, somewhere this weekend. However, we'll know more about it when Jose Ramon Carabante will unveil full management and drivers' lineup for his new team today.
