Mario Kart: Fury Road Parody Makes Mad Max Look Comical

There's nothing "holy" on the internet, which means you can make a parody about everything, including one of the best movies made by Hollywood in recent years. The autoevolution team unanimously loved the non-stop action of Mad Max: Fury Road, so we were reluctant to share this Mario Kart parody at first.
However, it's a pretty sweet idea because it makes "Welcome to Mario Kart!" sound terrifying. Video games sometimes get turned into films, as was the case with Lara Croft: Tomb Rider, Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, Need for Speed, Hitman and Mortal Kombat. So why not offer a realistic take on the Mario gaming universe?

You have to admit, there is a lot of potential for realism. Mario is a working class hero who relentlessly and selflessly tries to save princess Peach, the archetypal damsel in distress. For a villain, I don't think you can get much better than Bowser. He is a gigantic turtle with spikes, horns, huge teeth, red hair and a club. You don't want to mess with him!

That being said, director George Miller probably won't like his work being treated in such a manner. His team spent way too many months filming in the middle of the desert.

A total of about 100 vehicles were involved in the filming of the movie, most of them custom-built. So for the footage to be used to make a Mario Kart is like serving your dog gold-plated truffles with a side of caviar.
