Marc Marquez vs. Valentino Rossi... on the Dirt Track

Marc Marquez will have to battle Valentino Rossi on the dirt track 1 photo
This year we might get to see a new clash between the young blood Marc Marquez and the seasoned multiple champion Valentino Rossi... on the dirt track at the Italian's Moto Ranch near Tavullia.
Rossi's favorite playground comprises and oval dirt track and a motocross one dubbed La Biscia (The Snake). The Doctor has officially invited Marquez at his ranch for some racing, though he acknowledges that the busy racing and training schedules of the MotoGP riders leave rather little room for such games.

However, Rossi has organized some really nice friendly events, like the one in 2012, with Colin Edwards, Claudio Corti and more Italian riders, who responded to his invitation for this different kind of competition.

While Marquez gladly accepted Rossi's invitation, they both know finding the necessary time for this will be hard. Rossi anticipates that the encounter could take place in September, as the MotoGP has another Italian round at Misano.

Like most other powersports riders and drivers, Marquez and Rossi add motocross as one of their favorite training routines. And Kimi Raikkonen does the same, too.
