Mansory, a tuning company that is known for its eccentric designs, has revealed another Mercedes-AMG GT package it made for a customer.
This time, the Mansory kit for the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S you can see in this article’s photo gallery is a one-off for an unspecified customer. Therefore, you cannot buy one that looks the same. However, Mansory will probably build you something close if you ask, or a another one-off creation with a unique style.
The latest tuning kit from Mansory brings a wide-body for the Mercedes-AMG GT S, and comes with a massive rear wing inspired by the GT3 model. The rear spoiler has been reshaped, and now included an air diffuser.
Since Mansory is a fan of carbon fiber, the tuning company decide to paint all the CFRP parts on this model in “ruby red.” The shade was chosen because Bandar, the owner of the car, has expressed a preference for the color.
The exterior tuning package was completed by a set of “7spoke” rims from Mansory, which have a diameter of 21 inches for both axles, but a width of 9.5 for the front, and 10.5 for the rear. The springs have been replaced with lowering units to provide a reduced clearance.
On the inside, Mansory specialists placed carbon fiber inlays for multiple parts, and covered almost all the furnishing components in hand-stitched leather. If no leather was used on an element, Mansory dressed it in its carbon fabric. The seats feature embroidered logos, and the illuminated door sills complete the customization program.
Mansory did not leave the GT S’ engine stock, and modified it to the client’s request. The changes include bigger turbochargers, a sports exhaust system made of stainless steel, and other modifications. The result is a peak output of 730 HP, and a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds. Top speed exceeds 330 km/h (205 mph).
