In the world of tuning, the line between tasteful and ruined is getting thinner by the day, with Mansory serving as the best example of a tuner who enjoys coming up with questionable projects. The Frankfurt Motor Show is no exception to this, with Mansory ruining a Range Rover Autobiography Long Wheelbase, as well as a Porsche Macan and a Cayenne.
Unfortunately, we’re used to seeing Zuffenhausen machines being butchered by Mansory. So we’ll go past the flashy details of the Cayenne/Macan and jump straight to the most expensive version of the Range Rover.

Mansory had already introduced tuning programs for both the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport, so the new development was the obvious way to go for them.

The list of mention-worthy features includes power curtains that separate the driver and the first-row passenger from the other occupants of the car. The rest is a collection of otherwise respectable materials, from the finest leather to Alcantara or wood. Oh and plenty of carbon.

On the outside, the Mansory Range Rover Autobiography LWB is 60 mm (2.36 inches) wider compared to the standard car, while the vehicle rides on 22-inch wheels wrapped in massive 305-section tires. Upon customer request, Mansory can bring the Range Rover closer to the road by 45 mm (1.8 inches).

Where can you draw the line between the two sides of the tuning world?

You might be wondering how the line mentioned in the intro is drawn. Another tuner, Startech, was on the scene to provide an answer to that question. Just like Mansory has done in the past, Startech, which is owned by Brabus, touched a pair of Bentleys, introducing them on the Frankfurt floor.

The vehicles received a personal inspection from Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer. And when such an operation goes by without any raised eyebrows, you know you’ve done it right.
