The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is supposed to be about stuff like refinement and class. But as the most expensive SUV you can buy, it just becomes a benchmark for who can spend more money.
And you know what? We don't actually mind one bit. Because while the stock Cullinan can be a little unpleasant to look at, especially from the front, tuning companies have made much better-looking versions.
We're not talking about tuners working out of their basement to see who can design the ugliest wing. No, companies like Mansory have decades of experience refining all kinds of cars, including Rolls-Royces.
This particular Cullinan was done by Platinum Group, an American customizer known for working with lots of rappers and ballers. They naturally gravitated toward the Mansory body kit, which makes the SUV look more sporty. For example, the front bumper is completely new, adding carbon-fiber wings and extra intakes.
It's also a widebody package that not only extends the four fenders but also the rocker panels. And while Rolls-Royce is usually restrained in the performance department, the Mansory version of the Cullinan comes with quad exhaust tips, a diffuser and trunk spoiler.
Usually, owners also spec new exhaust systems, and this particular model clearly has modified air suspension to let those 24-inch wheels hug the bodywork. All-in, we've seen SUVs in this configuration retailing for more than $600,000.
This would make one heck of a birthday gift if your SUV-loving significant other was a retired surfer. That's because the Cullinan has been paired to a tailor-made surfboard that's finished with the Rolls-Royce logo. Technically, this color can just be your regular Slate Gray, but we're going to pretend that it's a copy of Nardo Gray from Audi.
For the record, Rolls-Royce did make its own official surfboard about two years ago. It was made with several wood veneers and had a 24-carat gold leaf on it. Most rappers don't surf, but that's still something you can bring to a music video.
