Mansory Releases Design Pack for 955 Porsche Cayenne

Swiss tuner Mansory released an individualization pack for the Porsche Cayenne, only a few days after the unveiling of the Bugatti LINEA Vincero at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The tuner's design ideas fit the German SUV like a glove, as the choice of color and body kit makes it look much more aggressive than the series version.

Mansory fitted the Cayenne with a far more dynamic front apron with larger air inlets. Ineffective on its own, the apron combines with the ultra-light bonnet, for one of the most mean looks we yet seen on a Cayenne.

By broadening the wings and adding side skirts, the serial auto body was broadened by 40 mm. The rear apron, which features an integrated diffuser, has enough room for the end pipes of the valve-controlled sport exhaust system and seamlessly fits into the overall package.

To add to the more sportier than off-roader feel and look of the Cayenne, Mansory used springs to lower the ground clearance by 35 mm. The 5 spoke mono block forged aluminum wheels come in either 10x22 or 11x23 inch versions, both of which fit the body style of the Mansory Cayenne.

Not even the interior escaped the knife of Mansory's surgeons. Besides the noticeable changes made to the show model, such as aluminum pedals, carbon fiber applications or decorative stitches, Mansory will offer, on demand, any other tweak a customer can think of.

Mansory is the second tuner to mess around with Cayenne models this month. Almost a week ago, RUF displayed its Dakara creation at the Geneva Show. Even if Mansory did not go as far as to fit 911 headlights on the Cayenne (an inspired choice made by RUF), their individualization kit brings a wilder look to the Porsche than the Dakara offers.
