The Range Rover is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and the vehicle’s Sport derivative has just received a new gift, in the form of a modification package coming from Mansory.
The Swiss tuner offers a small power boost for all the engines in the range (including both petrols and diesels), offering a premium of up to 30 hp and 40 Nm of torque. This is achieved by the installation of a new sports air filter, a high-performance exhaust and an ECU remap.
The exterior of the Range Rover Sport has been gifted with a body kit that includes a new front bumper with LED daytime running lights and generously-sized air intakes, a new bonnet with a large power dome, wide wings that add 60 mm width in the front and 80 mm at the rear. The kit also comes with a rear apron diffuser with a carbon fiber insert, as well as a carbon roof spoiler.
The new wings allow the tuner to fit 23 inch lightweight alloy rims that use 315/25 rubber. The suspension of the British SUV can be lowered by up to 30 mm via a new air suspension module.
The interior of the vehicle has received a sports steering wheel, a leather finish, carbon fiber or wood trimming and aluminum pedals.
“As is the case with all modifications from MANSORY Switzerland AG, both the body and the interior are subjected to a complete working-over and topped off with powerful engine tuning. MANSORY does not distinguish between a diesel or petrol engine in the basic model; the programme increases the performance for either power plant,” stated the press release.
