Mansory Adds Luxury to 740 HP Rolls-Royce Dawn

Somehow, tuners have figured out you can't play with a Rolls-Royce without destroying its value. It's like painting the Pantheon or making the pyramids more round.

The Dawn Convertible is brand new, and it looks like a 21st-century land yacht. Thus, the approach that is taken by Bavarian tuner Mansory is also a little bit more subtle. Of course, no matter what they did, being one of the first companies to do something about the Dawn is ideal for business.

You will need a magnifying glass to find the differences between the factory model and the one Mansory came up with. At the front, their air intakes are slightly larger and feature a new design. With painstaking attention to detail, the company designed vertical bars in the center and matching mesh for the sides.

At the same time, the Mansory version of the Dawn comes with a subtle spoiler and LED daytime running lights that give the car a sportier appearance. The company is known for using some of the best materials out there, so it comes as no surprise that they've complimented the two-tone paintjob with a few carbon fiber elements.

Looking at the engine bay, Mansory found that the 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine could do with some tuning. Thus, they boosted the thing from 570 PS and 780 Nm of torque to 740 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. You can get that in an average Mercedes-AMG model, but Rolls-Royce is about effortless power, not outright speed. It's said that these updates are enough to take the massive convertible from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 285 km/h, 35 more than usual.

Unfortunately, there aren't any photos of the interior, nor will there be until a major tuning show arrives. But we are told the Dawn has been personalized using brushed aluminum, carbon, burl wood, and polished piano lacquer.

The final touch is putting shoes on the car. More specifically, the model has been fitted with 22-inch wheels in the V6 design Mansory patented. The rubber is as exotic as the car, arriving in the form of Vredestein's ultra-high performance tires that are sized 295/30/22 at the back.
