Not too long ago we were showing you Manhart’s first attempt at tuning the new BMW X4. The model they based their work on was the xDrive35d, the fastest and most powerful one in the range.
Fitted with a biturbo 3-liter inline 6-cylinder diesel engine, the xDrive35d has 313 HP and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal to do with as seen fit. Thanks to the xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, it will do 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds.

After they were done with it, however, we suspect the sprint could be done in less than 5 seconds, as the power and torque figures went up considerably. Now, the Manhart creation has 375 HP and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal, plenty for anyone.

Now, they announced that a similar power kit for the petrol version is also available. The xDrive35i model has only 306 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque in its standard guise. However, after they are done with it, the car would churn out 370 HP and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque out of the 3-liter inline 6-cylinder petrol engine. Rough estimates of what the M2 should have.

Of course, you can also get some visual enhancers for your X4 from Manhart, such as new wheels and lowering springs for a more sporty attitude. Because yes, nobody takes these SUVs off-road anymore.
