Lately, the guys from Manhart impressed me with all sorts of new cars meant to take down the domination of other tuners such as AC Schnitzer, Alpina and G-Power, all of them really powerful, taken way beyond the usual resistance point.
After looking at what they were capable of doing to a Hatchback (MH1 400), a full-size sedan (MH5 S Biturbo) and an SUV (the MHX5 700) at the Essen Motor Show 2013, I’m really curious what they’ll do to an F25 X3.

They just published a photo on their Facebook page, showcasing a possible MHX3 Concept based on BMW’s SUV. As a tease, the car in the image has a ‘MHX3 370’ badge on the front passenger door, hinting at a possible 370 HP output. That could mean that they’ll use the xDrive35i model to create this enhanced model, seriously upgrading the 3-liter, 306 HP engine under the bonnet and becoming more powerful than the diesel alternative from Alpina, the XD3 Biturbo.
