Manhart Racing Rear Silencer for the New M6 Released

The 25-year old German tuner released this February a rather peculiar exhaust kit for the M6. We have to admit is sounds like the German and the French army are going at it when you press the pedal above 2,000 RPM.

The Manhart custom rear silencers are made from high quality stainless steel and are available in 4 choices with or without valve control.

Choosing to go with the valve control unit doesn't mean you're not going to enjoy the car's sounds properly. The Manhart muffler comes with a modified valve that opens up at 2,000 RPM so that you can enjoy the 4.4-liter under the bonnet along with the terrible sound it creates.

However, if you'd like the valve to be open at all times, pressing the M button of the M6 will keep it open at all times. Problem solved. The option without valve control seems less likely to be bought, even though it is named "Race Version Silencer".

Either way, you can choose between 2 tail pipe sizes: 4x90mm and 4x100mm. Both of them sound like the mighty Zeus has descended from Olympus and is furious that you woke him up.
