Manhart M3 V10 Touring Family Racing

After they pushed the M3 Coupe to 550 horsepower, the tuners at Manhart have decided it is time to get their hands and work on the four-door saloon version of the M3. In the end, they managed to put up a Family Racing version of the bimmer... which will likely please even the most skeptical wives.

The bodykit includes M3 E90 front apron, front fenders, bonnet, side skirts and wing mirrors, as well as Manhart Racing-designed, M3-style, rear apron, and widened rear wheel arches in M3 style.

The visual appearance of the car is completed by the three-part RAD Monza aluminium rims in 9.5” x 20” ET20 and 10.5” x 20” ET20, Hankook Ventus S1 Evo tires in sizes 255/30ZR20 and 295/25ZR20.

And since “Manhart knows that you obviously can't just make a car look good; it has to have something under the bonnet too,” the team used the 5.0-liter V10 engine from the M5 E60 and, after they optimized the electronics and incorporated HJS’s stainless-steel four-pipe exhaust system with two 200-cell racing catalytic convertors, the unit now outputs 550 hp.

Moreover, the engine was mated to a seven-speed SMG gearbox, also taken from the M5, with the corresponding limited slip differential. All these engine tweaks propels the Family Racing M3 from naught to sixty in 4.3 seconds and keeps on boosting it to a top speed of 324 km/h.

Interior features include heated BMW performance sports seats, leather-covered back seats in the style of the front seats, full leather interior with Alcantara roof and door lining, BMW performance steering wheel with illuminating indicator switches, acceleration and quarter mile time displays.

The purchase price for the complete Manhart Racing car package is set at around €120,000, but if desired, the basis car can also be upgraded.
