Nowadays, automotive designers have reached a point where the drawing board is no longer blank. Every new car has to follow a multitude of safety and aerodynamic rules, people want their vehicles to be practical, asking for visibility and luggage space even when talking about sportscars and so on.
Thus, it becomes more and more difficult to get away from creating a rather bland design, from fueling people’s obsession with saying “all cars look the same these days”. Well, we’ve found a solution: Manga Cars. The Japanese really knew what they were doing when they started this trend and we think it should be followed all over the world, maybe with local influences.

The adjacent photo, which was of course snapped in Japan, demonstrates this using a Mazda MX-5 / Miata and while this is a vehicle that would look cool in the simplest of colors, the drawings it shows would make even a minivan look cool.
