Last time we placed Philippines and supercar in the same piece of news, we told you that the authorities had seized a grey market McLaren MP4-12C. However, the people there are determined to get their hands on supercars and we may have come across the most eager one.
We’re talking about a man who recently purchased a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta just to be allowed to acquire a LaFerrari. This was the first F12 in Philippines and was sold for a mind-blowing price of 32.9 million pesos ($753,000 or EUR567,000) due to the taxes.
The deal was handled by Autostrada Motore, the only Ferrari dealer in the country. Somebody there told Top Gear Philippines that the man bought the F12 in order to bring the total number of Prancing Horses in his garage to five, as this would reportedly be the request in order for a customer to be eligible for a LaFerrari purchase.
