We’re so excited about the arrival of the next Clio RS that we’d actually let out a scream... in a totally manly, powerful voice of course. Renault knows there’s a strong community of fans out there who are just as eager as us to get behind the wheel.
Now those fans will be able to get a jump start of the official launch, which should take place next summer, and create a fake video of themselves behind the wheel of the RS 200 EDC.
To do that, you just have to go to www.cliors.renault-sport.com and post a frontal picture of yourself. So there you go, the time-waster of the day!
We rather liked the little video of the gold Clio RS doing its thing. It’s a handsome little machine, with its black wheels and sport body kit. Some strange compromises have been made, like the lack of Brembos and less wide tires, but Renaultsport say the car is faster than before.
Part of the reason is that it uses a 1.6-liter turbo engine with lots of low-end torque and a EDC double-clutch gearbox with paddle shifters.
