One of the basic road safety rules is that riders must constantly check with what's happening in front of them. Fail to properly asses the traffic status in front, and you're an accident happening pretty soon.
If we add speed, a mindless and stubborn desire to pass everything in front and riding without a helmet, the result will be anything but good. And if you think that such scenarios are only fit for movies, the video after the jump should prove you the opposite.
Even though some might find the Mercedes at fault, too, I'd say the driver played it cool: the white car stopped to let the MB steer to the left, while the scooter rider came in speeding, ignoring the halted car and attempting to overtake. Tough luck for the chap, as he smashed into the Merc...
