The operation started at 6:45am local time and a total of 25 members and affiliates have been placed in custody. More than 200 LOEs have been mustered for the massive action on the Spanish island Mallorca, where Hells Angels has recently opened a charter with support from the clubs in Germany and Luxembourg.

It took more that two and a half years of investigation and cooperation between Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Austria, and help from Europol and Eurojust to document the Spanish SWAT action.

According to Europol, "several cars and motorcycles were seized, as well as sums of money in cash and firearms. Investigators also seized computers, laptops, mobile phones and electronic devices."

The persons arrested are suspected of being involved in multiple criminal activities including human beings and drug trafficking, extortion, money laundering and corruption. The same source mentions that as the seized goods are being analyzed, more arrests and searches could follow.

Police and intelligence agencies deem the Hells Angels of the "big four," together with Pagans, Outlaws, and Bandidos, and claim their members are involved in violent crimes, drug dealing, trafficking in stolen goods and human beings, extortion and prostitution.
