For those of you who aren't familiar with the Mahindra Verito Vibe, we'll remind you it's a shortened version of the Verito sedan, which is a rebadged version of the Dacia Logan built under license from Renault.
We've been following this indian chop job for a while now, partly because we're bored with supercars and partly because it's a very strange project. The whole boot of the Dacia Logan has been chopped off to make the car shorter than 4 meters. The new rear bumper appears to be from the old Ford Fiesta, and for a while now, we thought the Vibe was a hatcheck with a sloped tailgate, like an Opel Astra G.
But it's not a hatchback, nor a liftback sedan. The boot is a bit like the "oven door" style you get on some convertibles, like the MINI Convertible or Fiat 500C. This means that access is really tight, which explain why this solution is rarely used in the auto industry.
