Indian carmaker Mahindra recently launched this version of the Renault’s Dacia Logan, redesigned for the Indian market. But Mahindra’s portfolio also includes a company called Reva Electric, which makes small EVs. Combine the two, and you get an Indian Dacia Logan electric car that’s supposedly coming in two years.
According to a report from Hindustan Times, the car will have a lithium-ion battery pack, one that’s already in use in cars like the Reva-i and Reva NXR. An electric motor will also replace the Verito’s current 1.4-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. Besides the sedan, there will also be an electric pickup, which should look familiar to Renault and Dacia fans.
