Maggi Fort Knox Motorcycle Active Alarm Locks

"Fort Knox" is better known in Europe as Maggi's brand of motorcycle security products than the big pile of money Americans think of as they hear the name. However, there's money involved in both, since Maggi's products keep your bikes (and therefore the money you spent on them) in your property. And this is good.
Skilled thieves have little trouble stealing a motorcycle, and they would steal yours if it comes to this, so the better prepared you are, the safer your ride is.

The new Maggi Active alarm locks, the Active Blade and Active Square come in various sizes and they can be also bought as a simple lock or as a lock and chain combo. The story is pretty much the same like in other cases: hardened steel for the loops and chains, treated to resist freezing sprays and so on.

A nice feature is that riders can use them as locks and as alarm locks by simply reversing the position of the locking loop and turning the key: the first position locks the disc or chain in place, and if you also want the alarm, just insert the loop the other way. Take out the key and the 100db alarm is armed.

The locks are tamper and movement sensitive and the alarms will go off if they receive shocks or the thieves try to haul the bike away. Maggi promises future upgrades with SMS alerts and GPS localization. Prices between €85 ($111) and €210 ($275).
