With the first BMW M3 and M4 deliveries just around the corner (set to begin in June), the BMW Welt museum in Munich received a new set of exhibits, in the shape of these exact cars.
Where a dull white stand used to be, there are now 4 BMW M cars instead. The new F80 M3 in Yas Marina Blue, the new F82 M4 in Austin Yellow, a Frozen Silver M6 Gran Coupe and a Frozen Blue BMW F10 M5 LCI Competition Package.

You might be thinking that the last two don’t really belong there but you’d be wrong. The M5, for example, is celebrating 30 years of excellence in 2014 and rumor has it that we’re in for a special edition model that will be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June. Until then we’ll have to ‘settle’ with the Competition Package model put up for display here.

The audience can see the cars now, after they were unveiled on Friday, right after the BMW Motorsport program festivities that saw DTM drivers burn rubber and do donuts using the M4 DTM, M235i Racing and Z4 GT3 cars they usually drive in various competitions.

The 2015 BMW M3 starts at $62,925 (destination and handling tax included) while the Coupe version, the M4 will have a starting price of $65,125 (tax included). In Germany, however, prices are a bit higher, the M3 starting at €71,200 while the M4 will set you back €72,200, 19% VAT included.
