The new BMW M4 is ready to take on the world and it needs so proper, precise tools to prove its worth even to the less knowledgeable of the drivers out there. For some people, the performance of this car will be too much and they’ll need things like the BMW M Laptimer to figure out what’s what.
Of course, that’s not the case for 3 time WTCC champion, Andy Priaulx but he didn’t mind testing the app on the British Brands Hatch circuit. In order to do so, he was also given a proper car, the brand new BMW F82 M4 Coupe.
Up until now, we’ve seen Andy driving the M235i on a couple of occasions and Bruno Spengler taking the wheel of the M4 so this change is a rather breath of fresh air.
On the track, Priaulx even gives some advice on how to handle a car that has rear-wheel-drive, 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque on the rear axle and 431 HP on a wet day. Of course, just watching this 2 minute 38 seconds clip isn’t enough but it’s a start! Check it out for yourself!
PS: Listen to that glorious engine sound!
