The 6 Series range just received a mild facelift but if you’re not careful you might miss the changes that happened. That’s because they are basically limited to the headlights and the lower side of the front bumper. Even so, there are plenty of tuners out there that will make your older 6er stand out in the crowd. One of them is M&D.
The German company just unveiled their latest project and it’s looking quite fierce. However, you should know that it’s definitely not going to be appreciated by everyone. That’s because it features a more of a racer look instead of a stylish, elegant approach.

First thing you’re going to notice is the wide body kit. Sourced from Prior Design, this is the famous PD6XX version that was also brought to the Essen Motor Show earlier this year. We brought you live photos from the venue if you care to remember.

That kit includes a new set of bumpers, revised side skirts and wider fenders along a new rear diffuser, canards and a ventilated hood that has no practical advantage. It looks good though!

By the looks of things, you probably already guessed that the suspension is not stock and was instead replaced with lowering springs from H&R while the front features an M6 kidney grille with a bumper that resembles the look of the M car.

That’s not the only similarity between this 6er and the high-performance model. They also have a similar engine, a 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 but different power outputs.

In standard guise, the 650i makes 450 HP and 650 Nm (484 lb-ft) of torque but this thing was tuned closer to the M6. It now makes 510 HP and around 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque thanks to a new ECU map and a sport exhaust system.

To top it all off, a set of 21 inch forged wheels from Rennen Forged were added to the mix that look the biz!
