The Sturgis Buffalo Chip announces that the legendary southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd have locked in their show for the 2014 Sturgis rally and will celebrate their 40th anniversary in the middle of motorcycle enthusiasts.
Lynyrd Skynyrd will be on stage on Sunday, August 3rd, 2014, and will headline the evening. The 2014 Sturgis rally has scheduled no less than 9 days of concerts, so attendants are in for quite a bang for the buck.

“Lynyrd Skynyrd’s patriotic hits have now served as the anthem to multiple generations of freedom-loving campers who have stayed at the Chip over the past 33 years. It will be an amazing night as they continue to celebrate 40 years of performing the world’s most-loved rock n’ roll on the Chip’s stage,” Rod Woodruff, president of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip says.

2014 marks the 33rd Buffalo Chip Motorcycle and Music Festival, and will take place Aug. 1-9, 2014, with more than 20 bands to perform on the main stage. The Sturgis Rally runs August 4th - 10th, 2014.
