Firstly unveiled at this year’s Art Basel event, the new line is the result of extensive access to the aerospace company’s material and manufacturing technology at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Center (AMRC) in Sheffield, UK, as well as to its historical and archival materials. The eccentric watches are created exclusively using Boeing airplane materials that have never before been incorporated in watch manufacture.
To be able to buy a limited edition watch made out of carbon fiber and who’s features are inspired of supercars is one thing, but to know that the wrist timepiece you’re looking at is actually made out of airplane materials that’s already something out of this world. Right?

The two new models, The Bremont Boeing Model 1 and Model 247, are manufactured in two versions, the first being stainless steel. It’s a double vacuum-melted, age-hardenable alloy developed especially for the aerospace industry for superior strength, hardness and corrosion resistance.

The second version uses Boeing aviation-grade Ti-64 titanium. Both feature the Bremont Trip-Tick case construction with integrated crown guard. The movements are suspended in Boeing blue decorated steel and rubber anti-shock mounts exposed for all to see through the crystal case backs.

The Bremont Boeing Model 247 was named after the first Boeing twin-engine commercial aircraft. As the previous watch, this version too comes in two options, respectively stainless steel or titanium. The hardened case incorporates screw down crowns and chrono pushers, together with an exhibition sapphire crystal case back.

The Bremont Boeing Model 247 is priced at $6,750 in Custom 465 stainless steel, so in case you’re actually considering buying yourself a nice Christmas present let’s hope you’ve been saving money for the last couple of months or the company you work for gave you a huge bonus.
