Lumma Design Wants the new X6 to Have 590 HP

If there’s one German tuner out there really interested in the new F16 X6, it’s definitely Lumma Design. The guys have been working on a new kit for the brand new Sport Activity Coupe and they released the first renderings of it today.

One thing’s for sure: this is not for the faint-hearted! It looks like Bumblebee on steroids and it has the power to mangle supercars. According to the tuner, they will be capable of taking the top of the range model, xDrive50i, up to 590 HP and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.

That means that the regular top speed and acceleration figures that apply to the stock car will be forever forgotten. This thing will do 185 mph (295 km/h) and you really should be surprised.

As for the design, they’ve always been a bit on the extreme side. You can judge for yourself if they’ve taken it too far but we’re not that excited about the CLR X6 R’s design.

The car received a complete wide body kit including a carbon fiber front bumper, new side skirts with ventilation ducts, new rear bumper with a fresh diffuser and quad-tailpipes and a huge spoiler for more downforce on the rear axle.

The bonnet is made of carbon fibre as well and has various vents to cool the V8 down while the 22 inch wheels are wrapped in Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tires.

Inside, the usual Alcantara and black leather welcome you to a world of luxury. The pedals are covered in aluminum and the floor mats are velour. Of course, a plethora of customized bits and pieces are also available but you’ll have to contact them directly for such items.
