Frankfurt-based bus operator TransContinental Tours, “Traco Tours”, will be using touring coaches from the newly-awarded Setra ComfortClass 500 on the route from Strassbourg to the Frankfurt airport.
Three two-axle S516 HD touring coaches, each sporting the Lufhansa livery both inside and out, will make return journeys on the aforementioned route twelve times a day on behalf of the Lufthansa airline.

“Our large international customers in the tourist sector particularly appreciate the modern yet dignified appearance of the new vehicle generation. All in all, the ComfortClass 500 offers a powerful package with which our group of companies is well equipped for the future.” said Marc Schaum, the sales manager at the TransContinental Group.

The new Setra coaches have seats for 48 passengers, each of them being now able to enjoy the 200 km (124 miles) journey to and from Strasbourg on Setra Voyage touring seats. The Setra ComfortClass from Daimler Buses was introduced last year and it already accumulated a range of awards at Europe's most important bus show in Kortrijk.
