A very violent crash that recently took place in the UK saw an Audi A3 rear-end an Audi A4 police car, with the image above showing just how badly the patrol vehicle was damaged in the unfortunate event.
The crash took place on Sunday on the emergency lane of the motorway in the proximity of the Dauntsey overbridge. Two officers of Wiltshire Police’s Roads Unit had reportedly pulled another vehicle over for speeding and were both in the A4 patrol vehicle when an Audi A3 hit them from behind.

Judging by the serious damage shown in the image, the A3 was traveling at great speed when it ran into the police car. One officer managed to walk away, but his colleague was trapped in the vehicle and had to be released by firefighters. Subsequently, the man was taken to the Great Western Hospital with shoulder injuries, while his colleague has to receive medical care after entering a state of shock.

The occupants of the Audi A3, the driver and his daughter, also required medical care and were taken to the same hospital. Fortunately, they were all released later in the day, as none has suffered important injuries. The Wiltshire Police is currently investigating the matter.
