Luca di Montezemolo has recently been named “European Manager of the Year” for 2012 by the European Business Press Federation (EBP), an association of Europe’s leading economic and finance publications.
The award has been around since 1991 and it is offered based in direct vote of the editors of the European Business Press Federation’s member publications, which include 48 of Europe’s leading business newspapers and magazines coming from 27 countries.

Luca di Montezemolo was selected thanks to the work he has done in his 20 years as Chairman of Ferrari, work that has dramatically transformed the company. He was also rewarded for his entrepreneurial activities in his role as President of NTV, the first private train handler in Italy, which runs high-speed trains, as well as for multiple roles he has held in various fields, such as the design sector and the biomedical field.
