Luca Bar Restores Dignity to the Harley-Davidson Street 750

It’s been a while since we’ve had some Luca Bar designs on the front page but the young Italian is back with a blast. A rather uncanny presence among his renderings, we must admit that this Street 750 is restoring the dignity Harley-Davidson designers have been forced to ditch when they came up with the final sketches.

Some say that bashing the Street 750 is sacrilegious, but I beg to differ. The Street 750 is a cheap bike and up close it looks even cheaper, oozing “you’re paying much more for the badge than for the bike” attitude. However, while such an argument could last almost forever, let’s take a peek at Luca Bar’s machine.

Color accents, a Forty-Eight tank and an infinitely better-looking rear end

Truth be told, Luca Bar’s Street 750 looks more Harley than the actual bike. Surely, Milwaukee would sell such a bike for a much higher price, in case they’d build it, but if you desperately want a Harley, maybe spending money on this one could seem reasonable to some degree.

The new tank and the side cases are definitely the two key points where the play looks of the Street 750 are being eradicated. For starters, the tank looks infinitely better than what we can see on the bike in real life, while the reworked rear with the added side cases integrates the Street 750 better in the H-D family, with more credible looks.

Cue in a decent silencer instead of the stock one which is fugly, a radiator mask which simply can’t cost a fortune (in the catalog of a decent seller), anodized rims and matching rocker covers, plus a two-tone paint job which is more consistent with the rest of the Harleys in the 2015 roster.

Fact is, these upgrades could be implemented with minimal costs, if someone wanted to make the Street 750 a real full-on Harley as it is advertised. Follow this link for even more Harley-Davidson Street 750 fun.
