A 1967 Camaro isn't worth $164,995 these days unless it's a supremely rare version or something along those lines. However, there are exceptions to that rule. One such car is Mr. "Snowblind" here.
Built by East Bay Muscle Cars in California for the 2015 SEMA Show over the course of three years and to the tune of more than $350,000, the pro-touring ‘Maro is currently listed at half the money that went into it.
That’s somewhat of a bargain if you go through all of the upgrades of this bad boy. Oh, and do remember that only 1,926 miles (3,100 kilometers) are shown on the odo since 2015. For sale at Streetside Classics, the Snowblind Camaro is centered around the twin-turbo LS3 small-block V8.
As if it wasn’t badass enough, the engine is joined by stainless-steel headers, EBMC induction, and water-to-air intercoolers as well as a T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. A dual-disc clutch and an Inland Empire Driveline aluminum driveshaft help send the suck-squeeze-bang-blow to the rear wheels, staggered 19s by 12-inch wide wheels to be more precise.
All wrapped in Nitto sticky rubber, the Rushforth rims hide 14-inch slotted and vented brake rotors featuring six pistons up front and four pistons at the rear end. Art Morrison subframes are also hiding under the sheet metal, along with a 9.0-inch Ford live-axle housing and a triangulated four-link setup.
The unique rear valance is joined by an integrated spoiler and integrated exhaust outlets, LED taillights, and lowered rear-quarter panels. The pro-touring theme of this restomodded ‘Maro continues with the carbon-fiber vented hood and the interior.
Open the driver’s door and you’re treated to VHX digital gauges, LED ambient lighting, a custom center console, and Corbeau seats in micro-suede and leather with red stitching. As you’d imagine from a car with this level of performance, the peeps at East Bay Muscle Cars have also fitted a harness bar from EBMC that renders the rear seats unusable.
Still, is this really a Camaro considering how many mods were made?
