LPG-Powered Pick-Up Blows Up at the Pumps

It`s not every day that you get to see a car blowing up, and the cars that do, usually have some sort of modification, which does not sit well with the rest of the car. For this pick-up driver from southern Iran, however it seems to have been his fault!
If you watch the vide closely, you will undoubtedly notice the man sitting calmly beside his white truck, when all of a sudden he sprints forward, probably to pull out the hose which was feeding compressed natural gas (CNG or LPG) into the pressurized tank located behind the cab, in the flatbed.

A fraction of a second after the man gets panicked all of a sudden, the truck blows up, and the pressurized tank can be seen leaving the vehicle first.

Thankfully, the owner was not killed, though he may suffer from a mild case of tinnitus for a while. This just goes to show that no matter how safe we think CNG is, in actual fact, when putting flammable liquid under pressure and keeping it there, it doesn`t sound safe at all.
