We assure you this is by no means a staged marketing play from Hyundai that tries to add cool factor to their sedan in the eyes of the ricer community.
This hunkered down Elantra low rider is not the result of a new set of shocks and springs, as the car has actually been crushed.

According to HyundaiWorld’s Facebook page, which posted these photos, a large container was blown off the truck bed by strong winds in Korea. It then landed on the roof of the Hyundai Elantra sedan.

We might be laughing at these photos and the fact that the container has ‘Hyundai’ on the mud flaps. But what if this driver didn’t have insurance?!

“A car that won almost every Car of the Year (COTY) award around the world preventing a container from getting blown away by strong wind,” said Hyundai on its Facebook page, trying to put a different spin on the situation.
