Introduced in 1992 with a 8.0-liter V10 engine under the hood, the Dodge Viper became an instant hit thanks to both its styling and performance figures. Launched as a roadster, the Viper gained a GTS coupe version four years later, when the second-generation entered production.
Naturally, the Viper evolved the past 20 years into more powerful and lighter versions, with its engine displacement being increased to 8.3 and 8.4 liters. Same goes for its styling, now more aggressive when compared to the first-generation design. However, a lot of enthusiasts consider Tom Gale’s initial design to be more representative for the V10 musclecar.
Early Vipers are hard to find nowadays, especially if you’re looking for near mint, unaltered models. One of them, with only 504 miles on its odo, has just surfaced on eBay. It has a Buy It Now price of only $37,500 and the seller claims it has “no defects at all” and no scratches. Check it out for yourself on eBay.
