Designed by famed hot rod designer Steve Stanford, built by Cinema Vehicle Services and driven by Nicholas Cage in "Gone in 60 Seconds" 13 years ago, the Eleanor Mustang is one of the worlds most coveted musclecar.
But they're not easy to get and they're anything but cheap. Earlier this year, the actual "Hero Car" that was used in the movie close-ups and promotional materials was auctioned off for no less than $1.3 million.
However, because the Eleanor is so popular with musclecar enthusiasts, there are a few Ford-approved replicas up for grabs from Oklahoma-based specialist Classic Recreations. They're obviously more popular in the US, but we know a bunch of guys in Europe who'd kill for an Eleanor.
It seems that one of Classic Recreations' Super Snake made it to Germany recently and it's now on sale via Mobile. The musclecar, which comes with a 7.6-liter V8 heart the hood and 770 HP, has only 730 km (455 miles) on its odometer. It's not cheap at €490,000 (£413,116 / $673,000) - including VAT - but it's probably one of the very few Eleanor's available in Europe.
