Lotus Meets The Baldwin Brothers

Just days in advance of the LA Auto Show, scheduled to begin November 19, world class, high performance sports cars manufacturer Lotus completely captivated first-rate Californian stars' attention with an inspiring and exciting party in the hills of Hollywood.

Industry icons, movie stars, musicians and artists all gathered to a celebration at a private residence in Tinseltown where they were offered a sneak preview of the new Lotus range that will also be a feature at the upcoming auto event.

Hosts of the aforementioned event were none other than the Baldwin brothers. Among the guests were renowned actors like Demi Moore, Peter Gallagher, Michele Rodriguez, Ione Skye, Grey Damon, Taryn Manning, TV host Vanna White, musician Perry Farell and many others.

Lotus Group's Chief Executive Officer, Dany Bahar gave a Laser Blue Lotus Evora to the Baldwin Foundation. Later in the night, the car was auctioned, and the money it raised will be given to charity to fight breast cancer, whom the mother of the Baldwin brothers just recently overcame.

Added into the already packed evening, Lotus also presented a collection of seven oversized prints, created by acclaimed French photographer Gerard Rancinan, which depict Lotus' evolution as a brand, pointing out meaningful moments throughout the Norfolk based carmaker's dramatic change in appearance.

Lotus is undertaking a complete image change with new models that were unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motorshow to be introduced over the next five years: the new Esprit, that will arrive in 2013; Elan (also scheduled for release in 2013); Elite, set for release in spring 2014; a replacement for the Elise that is due in 2015 and Eterne, a four door, four seater sports GT.
