While we wait for them to bring something that’s actually new, Lotus have revealed a new version of the Evora called the Sports Racer, basically a package that’s available on both the standard model and the supercharged Evora S.
We only have this this one photo to go by right now, but Lotus says the Evora now comes with black accents for the front air splitter, side skirts, roof and rear diffuser, as well as gloss black alloys and mirrors. Even the brake calipers can be painted red or black.
Exterior color choices include Ardent Red, Nightfall Blue, Carbon Grey and Aspen White. Step inside, and you notice it’s standard as a 2+2 cope with black leather everywhere and red stitching for contrast. They should have just called it the Lotus “Red & Black”.
On the tech side, the only notable changes are that the brake disks are drilled, a small diffuser has been added at the back and the rev limiter is a bit higher .
Prices in Britain start at GBP57,900 for the Evora and GBP65,900 for the Evora S, with its supercharged engine.
