Lotus Evora GTE Flybys at Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is still a good four and a bit months away, but the fun has already begun, as a number of grand new cars have had a go at the famous hill climb circuit, and among them there was this Evora GTE, filmed by Shmee150.
Despite being bigger than the Elise, the Evora GTE can still be considered the bantamweight of the supercar world. It’s been lightened and fettled until it became worthy of being called a GT2 class racer.

Powering this car is a Toyota-sourced 3.5-liter V6, supercharged to produce 444 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, thanks in part to the Dual-Variable Valve Timing of the supercharged engine.

This race car for the road also comes with a set of alloys wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires and numerous carbon fiber components that have reduced the weight by 150 kg.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
