Lotus Confirms Arabadzhiev, Gonzalez for Abu Dhabi Test

As teams are starting to confirm their lineups for the upcoming Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi, so decided to proceed Lotus Racing team. According to the latest media release, Vladimir Arabadzhiev (Bulgaria) and Rodolfo Gonzalez (Venezuela) will each take the chassis T127-02 to the track during the 2-day test, scheduled shortly after this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Former British F3 champion back in 2006, Gonzalez made brief appearances in the GP2 Main and Asia series throughout the 2009 and 2010 seasons, while also competing inside the Euroseries 3000 through the 2009 campaign.

As far as Bulgarian driver Vladimir Arabadzhiev is concerned, he started in the GP2 Series in the Asian competition, through the 2009/10 campaign. Later on, he moved to Scuderia Coloni for the current season, but he failed to score a single point so far. However, he only got to drive for the aforementioned squad until the Spa round, where he was replaced by New Zealander Brendon Hartley.

They both come from countries with growing interest in motorsport, and the chance to give emerging drivers the opportunity to step up to Formula One is central to the Lotus Racing philosophy of embracing young talent.”
