Lorenzo Lamas Launches Motorcycle Company

Even though you didn’t watch it or you weren’t such a big fan, you must have at least heard of ‘Renegade’, the American TV series from the 90s, starring Lorenzo Lamas as the ex-cop turned to bounty hunter, Reno Raines. “An outlaw hunting outlaws, a bounty hunter, a Renegade,” said the voicecover before every episode. Well, Lamas, who is currently 51-years-old, has recently launched his own motorcycle company, called... Lorenzo Lamas Cycles. Lack of inspiration we guess... The actor partnered with the renowned motorcycle designer Ralph Randolph to found the company, that will include custom motorcycle, parts, apparel, jewelry and fragrance. There are already four signature motorcycle designs revealed by Lamas, who aims to create the ideal bike. Two of the bikes, the Reno Rocket and the Bandlands Bomber, are set to make their public debut this week at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. According to autoblog.com, all the bikes seem to be based on production frames and will reportedly be equipped with Twin Cam engines from S&S and tires from Avon.
Lorenzo Lamas loves motorcycles and first of all ride on them. He owns a collection of several sport motorcycles and five Harley-Davidson motorcycles, which includes the bike on which he rode in ‘Renegade’ - a Harley-Davidson Softail custom from 1989 with V-twin 1340 cc engine and 59 HP.

“Riding is the cheapest therapy known to man. On a bike you’re immersed in the present - the past and future aren’t issues. Riding gives me answers to my questions and relieves me of worry. When I get off my bike, I feel like a new person,” said Lamas when speaking of his enthusiasm for motorcycles.
