Londoners were amused and surprised Sunday evening when they suddenly saw a helicopter dangling a car along the route of the Tames. Even funnier was the fact that the ride had all of its lights on. Of course people took it on social media to find out the reason behind the stunt.
Is a bird, is it a plane? No, it’s a car... traveling along the route of the Tames carrying a car. Take it to the chopper, noooow! And so they did.

People in London were amused and left with a big surprise Sunday afternoon, when they saw a flying car. The helicopter was spotted shortly after 7 PM traveling along the rout of the river. The car had all its lights on, so people realized it’s not just a rich guy showing of with his luxury ride. The bizarre sight led to many Londoners taking to Twitter.

So yes.... Just watched a helicopter carrying a car along the Tames. Standard London evening,” Brett B-Smith tweeted. “You know you’re back in London when you see a helicopter carrying a car for some reason,” Steve Forden also wrote on his Twitter Account. Shortly after the mystery was solved, as people realized that the helicopter dangling a car over London was in fact part of the Jaguar launch to go on today.

Funny part is that one of the people that joined the discussion even remembered of a similar scene happening 40 years ago, only it was an ad put together by Ford.

Well, there you go. Cars really do fly and they have been for some while, actually...
