Why pay hundreds of euros on helicopter shots and cool video aftereffects if you're only going make people dazed and confused? We have no idea, but maybe this is the new formula for good entertainment.
"#LOLVO V60" teaches a great deal of useless facts. For example, the V60 is "armored with a massive chrome broach" and comes with "a huge amount of tube brightsies"… whatever those are. With lots of views gathered in only a day, it's getting more attention than anything from the Swedish company, except of course for the "Van Damme Epic Splits."
The video comes from a mad little fellow by the nickname PonyHans, who made "Buy My Volvo". There's no question he knows how to make Volvos go viral far better than the Swedish automaker. Even though he likes to sit naked on fresh leather seats, we'd risk it and give him access to every "Lolvo" currently in production.
We know nothing about doing reviews in birthday suits, but we do know a lot about the V60. This recently updated model stands 4,635mm from edge to edge and is powered by a 3-liter turbo engine delivering 304 PS and 440 Nm of torque. 0 to 100 km/h? 6 seconds and you're there, but you'll have to put up with somewhat unreasonable fuel consumption of 14.8 l/100km.
As a little side note, there are apparently a lot of easter eggs in the video, like a shot where he has three arms and one where he whispers "don't do drugs". “A soft hard-top. Floor bibs.” How do they come up with this crazy stuff?
