Little changed in the headlight segment in the last decade, and from traditional H4 bulbs to xenon ones there's a rather smaller step than from the latter to all-LED modules. LED's have indeed offered a whole new lot of possibilities, thanks to their versatility.

Modern bike lighting now ranges from the classic singe-piece or dual-headlight bike noses to the ultra-bright daytime riding strips that can be found on most modern bikes, such as the Ducati Panigale or the late EBR machines.

The Yamaha YZF-R1 "eyebrows", the BMW R1200GS angel eyes, or even Ducati Scrambler 's headlight were nice attempts to introduce a new facet to the term "cool" but they are mere essays compared to Tamas Jakus' Logolight.

Remember BMW's in-door logo projectors? Logolight is cooler!

The idea behind the Logolight is arguably a completely new, never-see-before thing. We all remember the cool lights that could be installed in the doors of a BMW and that would turn on at night when the doors get opened. They would project a luminous BMW logo onto the asphalt and yes, they were a cool piece of aftermarket design.

Well, the Jakusa Logolight beats them hands down, even though it is, so far, only a digital project reserved for Triumph bikes solely. The triangular-shaped headlight follows the trend of the older Triumph badges and blends in both retro and modern elements.

A bright Union Jack flag in the night

We've seen lots of Triumph apparel items and accessories emblazoned with the Union Jack symbol, and the Logolight is not straying from the classic British path.

Of course, everything is so simple that we were wondering how come nobody came up with such an idea before. Well, that's maybe why bike designers are for, isn't it?

So far we don't have info whether Tamas is contemplating actually building such a cool headlight, but the modern LED technology gives us hopes. The Logolight is amazing as a daytime running light, and additional LED lamps could endow it with enough power to turn the night into the day.

Now, it's only natural that we expect BMW, Yamaha and more brands (with symmetric logos) added to the Logolight line-up, don't you think? And if you need more proof that Tamas Jakus knows his way around Triumph bikes, also check out his carbon-ized Speed Triple.
