Local Motors Flips Over, Crashes but Continues to Race

You know the saying "they don't build 'em like they used to". That's not exactly true when it comes to this car. It's the Rally Fighter, and the coolest thing about it is you build it yourself.
Because America still recognizes that citizens pay for the roads, it allows people to drive whatever they want as long as they can prove they built it themselves. However, this is no makeshift kit car with a fiberglass body, it's a full on racer that can tackle the toughest off-road races.

This one was participating in the Parker 425 race in Arizona when it hit a bump and flipped a full 360 degrees. When it landed, the hop got torn up but the driver didn't give up and continued to race, finishing 4th in his class. Now that's commitment.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
